ABOUT WORKING AT BALIO STUDIO
As an independent studio, our team works on projects of different sizes and genres. Roles are therefore less compartmentalized than in larger productions. A Game Designer may work on a level one day, balance a mechanic the next, write or integrate narrative content, test a feature, report bugs or help another department solve a gameplay problem. We do not expect an intern to already master all these disciplines. What matters most is being interested in the entire game development process, willing to learn and comfortable switching between different design tasks.
